Canisius College offers an array of cooking education courses to help students develop their culinary skills and techniques. From beginner level courses in food preparation and kitchen methodology, to more advanced courses in baking, pastry arts and international cuisines, the college has something to offer everyone.
In the Food Preparation course, students learn the basics of food hygiene and safety as well as core kitchen processes and techniques. They work together in small groups, preparing a variety of dishes while learning proper slicing, dicing, chopping and cooking methods.
