Courses within the Culinary Sustainability Institute are available to both undergraduates and graduates and cover topics such as sustainable food production, meal preparation using sustainable ingredients, and food access and the environment. Within the Cadence Center, the emphasis is on teaching students cooking and food preparation skills in a restaurant style kitchen. Classes are available in topics such as culinary techniques, baking and confectionery, nutrition, and American regional cuisine.

The Department of Hospitality and Culinary Arts at Kennesaw State University offers a degree in Culinary Sustainability as well as other certificate and degree programs focusing specifically on culinary arts and hospitality. For individuals who already have a degree in culinary arts or a related field and are looking for continuing education, short courses are available such as Artisanal Baking and Wine & Spirits Management.
