Atlanta Technical College offers an array of cooking education programs for students who wish to enter the culinary arts field. From diplomas and associate degrees to certificate programs and continuing education, the college provides comprehensive learning opportunities to help you turn your passion in the kitchen into a career.

The college's Culinary Arts Program prepares students to work in restaurants, hotels and other foodservice operations. Students enrolled in the diploma or associate programs will learn professional kitchen skills, safety procedures, menu planning and nutrition. The courses also cover the principles of baking and pastry production, international cuisine and restaurant management. As a part of the curriculum, students will participate in a practical experience in one of the college's well-equipped teaching kitchens.

The Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts program provides more intensive education with hands-on-instruction in classical French, Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. This three semester program culminates with a supervised internship that allows students to gain valuable real-world experience. In addition, students may also choose to earn specialized certificates in Baking & Pastry Arts or in Food & Beverage Management.
