Manatee Technical College (MTC) is a leading provider of quality culinary education in Florida. MTC's Culinary Arts program is designed to equip students with the essential skills needed to prepare them for a successful career in the culinary industry. This program offers hands-on classes that teach technique, food safety, and recipe development. Students learn to prepare meals and desserts, how to use a variety of cooking techniques, and gain valuable experience in the areas of sanitation, seasonings, presentation, and nutrition. Upon completion of program requirements, graduates receive their Culinary Arts Certificate and are prepared to work in a variety of professional settings.

In addition to the Culinary Arts program, MTC offers several other programs dedicated to cooking and baking education. These include the Baking and Pastry Arts Certificate program, Aspiring Chef Certificate program, Nutritional Cooking Certificate program, Hospitality and Restaurant Management Certificate program, and more.
