Northshore Technical Community College (NTCC) offers an extensive range of cooking education opportunities for individuals looking to pursue a culinary education. The college has been providing students with cooking and nutrition courses since 1974, and the school’s most popular courses are in the culinary arts and the science of cooking.

The Cooking Education programs at NTCC are designed to educate students in the fundamentals of cooking and baking, from the basics of cooking and baking to menu planning, food costing, and nutrition. All courses include hands-on instructional activities, lecture sessions, and lab experiences that focus on preparing students for professional careers in the hospitality industry.

NTCC’s Culinary Arts program provides students with the foundation for a career in the foodservice industry. Courses in this program include the fundamentals of food preparation, recipes and techniques, food safety and sanitation principles, quantity food production, and management skills.
